Hearts of Oak Name 21-Man Travelling Squad for Debibi United Clash

Hearts of Oak have named a 21-man travelling squad for their Ghana Premier League Matchday 9 encounter against newly promoted Debibi United FC at the Debibi Presby Park on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

The Phobians will travel to Debibi with the objective of extending their impressive winning run and maintaining their position among the leading clubs in the league standings.

Hearts of Oak head into the encounter in good form, having recorded three consecutive victories in their last three league matches. Their latest success was a narrow 1-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars, a result that further strengthened their position in the title race.

After eight matches, the Accra-based giants occupy second position on the Ghana Premier League table with 17 points, level with league leaders Medeama SC but trailing on goal difference.

The Phobians have also demonstrated impressive defensive organisation this season, conceding only two goals in their opening eight matches.

Meanwhile, their opponents, Debibi United, occupy 16th position with seven points after eight matches. The newly promoted side will be desperate to secure a positive result in front of their home supporters as they seek to move away from the relegation zone.

Debibi United suffered a 3-0 defeat against Bechem United in their previous league outing and will be hoping to bounce back against one of the most decorated clubs in Ghanaian football.

However, Hearts of Oak will not want to underestimate their opponents, particularly with the match being played at the Debibi Presby Park, where the home side will enjoy the support of their fans.

The encounter presents another opportunity for the Phobians to collect maximum points, maintain their winning momentum and strengthen their challenge for the league title.
