Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojsa Kapor says his players are full of confidence as they prepare to face Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League Week 3 encounter at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday.
The Phobians have made a strong start to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign, winning both of their opening matches. Hearts of Oak began the season with an impressive 4-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea before following it up with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Bibiani GoldStars at Dun’s Park.
With six points from their opening two matches, Hearts of Oak will be hoping to maintain their perfect start when they take on Bechem United.
Speaking ahead of the game, coach Kapor expressed his satisfaction with the mentality within his squad, insisting that the players believe strongly in the work being done by the technical team.
“Our confidence level is very high and the players believe in whatever we are doing and we continue our winning path,” Kapor said.
His comments underline the positive atmosphere surrounding the Hearts of Oak camp following their impressive opening results. The coach will now be looking for his players to maintain their concentration and intensity as they face another competitive opponent.
Bechem United, meanwhile, have picked up three points from their first two league matches. They secured a 1-0 victory in one of their opening fixtures against Bibiani GoldStars but suffered a 3-1 defeat to Karela United in their other game.
The Hunters will therefore be determined to return to winning ways and make a strong statement against one of the early leaders of the league.
For Hearts of Oak, the objective will be clear: continue their winning run and collect another three points. However, Kapor and his technical team will be aware that Bechem United could pose a serious challenge, particularly as they look to recover from their recent defeat.
The Week 3 fixture is scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 pm at the University of Ghana Stadium. Hearts fans will be hoping that their team can produce another strong performance and preserve their 100 percent winning record.
