Effective date: September 18, 2026
BornAgain Sports aims to correct factual errors clearly and promptly. This policy applies to published news, analysis, opinion, video pages, programmes, and other editorial material.
How to report an error
Send a correction request through the Contact page. Include the article or page URL, the exact statement in question, what appears to be incorrect, and a reliable source or explanation that supports the request. A correction request is not a guarantee that a change will be made.
Reviewing a request
The editorial team reviews the relevant material, checks the available source information, and may contact the requester or another source for clarification. We consider whether the issue is factual, material, supported by evidence, and relevant to the published work.
Material and minor changes
A material error is one that could significantly mislead readers, such as an incorrect name, score, date, identity, quotation, allegation, or central claim. Material errors are corrected in the article and, where appropriate, identified with a visible correction note. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or clarity changes that do not alter meaning may be fixed without a separate correction note.
Transparency
When a material correction is made, we aim to preserve the original publication context while making the corrected information clear. If an article is substantially updated because facts have changed, the update may be described separately from a correction. We do not remove a correction simply because the original wording is inconvenient.
Editorial judgement
Not every disagreement is an error. Differences of interpretation, opinion, prediction, or sporting assessment are normally addressed as editorial feedback rather than factual corrections. We may decline requests that are unsupported, abusive, intended to suppress lawful reporting, or unrelated to the published material.
Contact
Correction requests and editorial concerns can be sent through the Contact page. Please do not include unnecessary personal or confidential information.
